trade approval times

trade accepted before 12pm ET: will be approved as soon as possible with a deadline of 12pm the following day
trade
accepted after 12pm ET and before 12am ET: will be approved as soon as
possible with a deadline of one hour before the next days first game.
Any trade after 12am ET reverts back to as soon as possible or before
the NEXT days games, which would be the following day technically.

the commish reserves the right to approve any trade (not involving him) if the deadline has passed


trades

when a trade is accepted both teams will post the reason they made the trade, this will also include who proposed the trade. The only posts in the thread will be from the trade partners. Any other discussion (for or against) including responses after the trade is completed/denied will result in a auto $20 FAAB fine.

If a trade is vetoed the two teams involved will be notified by league email as to the reason (and that is all) why the trade was vetoed. There will be no suggestions on who to make the trade passable, if you want to resubmit something else feel free to do so.

Trade reneging.... I understand people get cold feet, however it is not fair to the other team. This is an agreement when you accept, but I'm going to allow it to happen at a cost...if you feel the penalty is worth the cancel, here's the penalty.... 5th or higher draft pick awarded to the other team (if you don't have a 5th, then 4th etc etc), $25 FAAB fine, AND the other team receives a prospect pick of their choice from your list. pretty harsh isn't it? so don't do it.
Should a player become injured after the time the trade was accepted you may submit to the commish a request for cancellation. There must be NO evidence of an existing injury prior to the time of acceptance, DFA does not apply and you are sh!t out of luck. Any trade approved for cancellation, the other team will be awarded $10 FAAB of the requesting teams FAAB.

Minimum Innings- Is 40 innings per week except for the first 4 weeks of the season in which it will be 30 innings. Failure to make innings once and you will be warned, Second offense, first round pick bumped to last and 25 dollars removed from F/A budget, Third offense, all picks bumped to last in every round, additional 25 dollars deducted from F/A budget, and team subject to removal from the league. This is not advanced physics, if you don't have the pitchers, pick some up, trade for some, etc.

Propsects- a team may keep up to 5 prospects on the prospect list. To be on the prospect list a player must not have 100 or more at bats or 30 or more innings pitched from the previous season. if someone on your current 2012 list has reached one of those limits they must be made a keeper or released.

If a player reached one of those limits in season they must be moved to the active roster or released after the week that they reached that limit. Once you bring a player from your prospect list to your active roster he can't return to the prospect list at any time during the season. However a prospect that was made active and then released may be acquired by another team for a prospect.

A prospect may be brought to the active roster in order to be traded and then can be immediately moved to their new teams prospect list should a owner wish to do so.

Coming into a new season teams should have at least 3, max of 5 prospects from the previous season. You may keep up to 3-5 prospects from this list as long as they qualify. If you do not have at least three to chose from you must wait until the prospect draft. The prospect "draft" is after the regular draft (probably the Monday
after the draft) Everyone will draft prospects (if they need them) in
reverse order of finish until everyone has the same number. If you don't
need to draft a prospect then obviously you wouldn't make a pick and
teams would all move up. If you want to release a player and pick up
another prospect you can do it during the draft when it come to your
turn. Everyone was given many reminders during the season to add prospects, some teams chose not to.

You cannot trade propsects/players that have not been moved active to Yahoo

Prospect Management- prospects are acquired on a first post gets them basis. there will be a thread for prospect acquisitions and drops.

iCubs rule:
1. any
player picked up as a prospect must remain on your prospect list for 5

days before they can be dropped or brought to your active roster. The

day you pick them counts as day 1. I will place an eligible date after

the player on the prospect list. For your benefit here is the days

picked up/activated or dropped (Mon/Sat, Tue/Sun, Wed/Mon, Thu/Tue,

Fri/Wed, Sat/Thu, Sun/Fri)

2. You are allowed 12 free prospect acquisitions during the season. Acquisition is defined by ANY time you add a prospect to your prospsect list...for any reason. There is no limit on prospect acquisitions, but after the 12 free moves every acquisition thereafter is a $5 deduction from your waiver dollars. Your available number of free acquisitions will be posted on the prospect list.

3. NO player will have their waiver date changed to active regardless of how long they are on your prospect list.

4. If you try and acquire a prospect that is already on another team and it's posted on the board, you have 5 minutes to remove it or it costs you $5 from your waiver dollars

prospect roster are frozen until prospect draft unless you are making one a keeper

no, it 12 noon to 12 midnight, any trade accepted in that time period will not be approved unitl the next day at the earliest

Please forgive me, Mr. Commissioner sir, but not WHEN prospects may be added. I am curious about whenever a prospect is added, is the only qualifying element that they have to be under the innings/AB limits, as opposed to zero mlb experience?

a new add to your prospect list must have zero MLB experience, you can keep a prospect that's already on your list who is under the minimum
